Water created from hot dessert air !

November 3, 2021 – Peter van Barneveld

Sounds impossible, but thanks to Ap Verheggen, who invented the SunGlacier, I know it’s possible. The SunGlacier creates water by blowing outside air into a cold waterfall. The moisture in the air condenses and so the total volume of the waterfall increases during its fall. The water that is extracted can then be drawn off, which can used for drinking, or agriculture.

The SunGlacier only needs solar power as energy source and can operate from 10 degrees Celsius to well above 50 degrees, which makes it an efficient machine and very usefull in many (dry) places on earth. Really incredible!
